Amanda Ainsworth
My dog, Holly, had been limping for two weeks and had been to the vets twice, without results, then I was recommended to Amanda of Hound Help. She was very patient and very thorough with Holly who is a nervous dog, and who was fidgeting the whole time. Amanda identified the problem and a little toe injury was quickly resolved at the vets the following day. 4 years on and Holly continues to visit Amanda for overall body massages to relieve tension and help her to relax. Holly attends a number of training classes and likes to give the squirrels and rabbits a run for their money, resulting in stiffness across her shoulders and down her spine, canine massage helps to alleviate this. Thanks to the calm, professional confidence of Amanda, Holly now enjoys these sessions and charges into her therapy studio with great enthusiasm. Holly and I can highly recommend Amanda of Hound Help.
2021 - Mandy with Holly
I have known Amanda, since June 2017 when Amanda came to assess my 2 miniature poodles for massages. She came to my house and spent a lot of time assessing them and explaining to me what was going to happen. I felt at ease with Amanda immediately. We set up some dates and Amanda left me with a form for each of them which I completed and then had to take to my vets to sign.
Amanda now comes every 4 weeks and is always friendly but professional and tells me if she has noticed any difference in them especially Amber as she does agility competitions.
Amanda has also told me when she has noticed changes i.e. Bella with a fatty lump and Amber with a lump on her neck.
I have 2 other dogs and Amanda always make a fuss of these as well and make sure they are not left out.
I can highly recommend Amanda at hound help. New paragraph
2021 - Tracey with Bella, Amber and Echo (and now Snoopy)
I first had the privilege of meeting Amanda in 2017 after I had heard about the benefits of Clinical Canjne Massage. After contacting her, I was a little sceptical about what could be achieved for my dogs, who both had various issues with joints and general stiffness allied to approaching old age and agility careers as youngsters. Well, I was blown away with the results, even after one session and can’t thank Amanda enough for giving both my dogs a better quality of life and enabling them to enjoy their walks again. She is a wonderful, caring and professional lady with an excellent knowledge and insight of canine anatomy. She has a wonderful affinity with her patients; taking time to fully explain to the owner what she is doing as she slowly works her hands over the dogs body and highlighting any problems which may need further investigation through your vet. I’m just so happy that her massages have allowed my dogs to live a good life; it is a wonderful complimentary therapy allied to conventional veterinary medicine, alleviating the need for prescription anti inflammatories and pain killers.
I can’t thank Amanda enough! My dogs love her and fully enjoy the experience; often falling into a deep relaxed sleep and I most definitely recommend her. She is totally professional and 100% committed to what she does, often fitting you in at short notice if you have a problem, remaining in contact via the excellent text appointment reminder system, but always at the end of the phone for advice if needed. A pleasure to be working with and to have met.
