Entering & Exiting Hound Help Canine Massage, 31 Ruxley Lane, Ewell, Surrey KT19 0JF
I ask that all dogs be on a lead when entering and exiting the Studio. This is to ensure the safety of your pets and others.
You may park on or across the driveway if there is space available.
Please arrive in plenty of time to allow your dog the chance to toilet before the appointment, and ensure you pick up after your dog if required.
Do not enter the premises until you are collected, another client may be in the Studio receiving treatment.
Hound Help Canine Massage accepts no responsibility should any vehicle, personal property etc be lost, stolen or damaged.
Arrival Times / Lateness
Please ensure you arrive on time for your appointment. Arriving late, may mean that your dog does not receive their full treatment or/may need to re-schedule the appointment, however, you will still be charged the full rate of the original appointment.
Late Cancellations/Missed Appointments
Whilst we understand that sometimes appointments must be cancelled, we do ask that you provide 48 hours’ notice wherever possible, failure to provide at least 48 hours’ notice may incur a £15.00 fee.
If an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice or you fail to attend an appointment, the full cost for the planned treatment will be payable.
Parasite Control Policy
Hound Help Canine Massage always operates a clean and safe environment.
Please ensure you keep us updated on any parasite control treatment being administered. Be aware that I cannot treat your dog within 7 days of a topical treatment application.
If your dog is found to have fleas or ticks, during a treatment session, the session may be ended. An additional fee of £15 will be incurred on top of the treatment cost, other clients may need to be rescheduled after your appointment due to the risk of cross contamination.
Behaviour
The owner agrees to inform Hound Help Canine Massage prior to treatment if the dog has ever bitten anyone or has any behavioural issues or aggressive tendencies.
Some nervous dogs or those with challenging behaviour may require a longer appointment time or split appointments.
Whilst we have a great deal of experience and success in working with dogs that have issues, Hound Help Canine Massage reserves the right to stop a treatment at any time, to safeguard the wellbeing of the dog, owner and practitioner.
Muzzling
A risk assessment is carried out on each canine client before treatment to safeguard their wellbeing, and that of the owner and practitioner. Should a dog be in pain or show aggressive/reactive tendencies it is the policy of Hound Help Canine Massage to use an appropriate muzzle in line with standard Health & Safety Practice for working with domestic animals. Should a dog be required to wear a muzzle, the owner will be asked to fit the muzzle.
